An excellent addition to shady gardens and borders!

Hostas add color and texture and pair well with many perennials. "Blue Angel" hosta has heavily textured blue-green leaves that can grow to be 12" across. This hosta is one of the largest of the blue-leaved hosta plants. It produces the best blue color when planted where it will receive light shade with some morning sun. In midsummer, pale lavender to white bell-shaped blooms will grow in clusters above the stately foliage. Planting Instructions: Set the plant in place so the eyes (tender white or purple swelling protruding from the crown area) are about 1-2" below the soil surface.

Order will ship early to mid-April, weather dependent.

  • Includes 3 bare root plants along with planting instructions
  • Hardiness Zone: 3-9
  • Perennial plant grows 36" high or as pruned
  • Space 36-48" apart in full sun to partial shade for best results
  • Blooms in mid-summer
  • Sourced by DeGroot
